Stakeholder Map

Part 7, Page 2

We did not cover stakeholder maps in class. Accordingly, page 2 of part 7 is no longer required. You are still required to do the first page (cycle of care).

However, you would still benefit from building a stakeholder map. You may learn how by watching the video below. If you build a stakeholder map and include it in your submission 1, your team may receive up to 5 bonus points on submission 1, making the total possible score 215/210. (See notes below the video for some comments to relate it to our class.)

For our class, we have only been talking about external stakeholders (not internal). Accordingly, you only need to include external stakeholders on your stakeholder map.

Around the minute 2 mark, the video is explaining how to identify stakeholders and ask what their stake is. We did this in class by using the cycle of care and cash flow analyses.

Somewhere on your stakeholder map page (if you choose to include it for bonus points), you should include the stake of the stakeholder (i.e., their interest in the solution to the need).
